Pure Hands Team in Hadramout distributes food basket to students with disability

Pure Hands launched a food basket project targeting students with disabilities in Wadi Hadramout in Sayun. The project was funded by Share our Strength Organization

The project targeted 450 members of families with disabilities, most of the targeted families are hosted by the Council for Associations of Disabled People in Wadi Hadramout.

According to Ayman bin Obaidullah, people with disability are among the most vulnerable groups in Yemen that need special attention when delivering humanitarian relief.  

The launch of this project was attended by the Head of Unions and Associations at the Social Affairs and Labor branch Office in Wadi Hadramout Mohammed Khamis Al-Tameemi and Head of Education Department in Sayun district khaled Saleh Balfas and head of Disabled People Associations Council Nabil Erfan Bin Saleh and the Council’s Executive Director Saleh Mubarak Bayashoot

In 2018, Pure Hands contributed to improving food availability to the most vulnerable groups by distributing ready meals for them.
